Companion release to their famed City of Heroes, City of Villains is set "on the other side of the tracks". In CoV, instead of protecting citizens, stopping crime, and arresting the bad guys, you ARE the Bad Guys(tm). As one of the myriad bad guys, you are sprung from The Ziggurat (a special prison for super villains) by Arachnos, a notorius criminal organization. They have reason to believe that you *may* be "The Chosen One" that will lead them to ultimate victory. As such, you then have to go about proving yourself to Arachnos, kidnapping citizens and scientists, robbing banks, tracking down traitors to Arachnos, and all other sorts of dastardly deeds as you rise through the ranks within the Arachnos organization.
