Liam at Imperial Empire SE
By: OMGN | Game Data | 4:19am, October 4, 2004
AREA-51 m7700
I've managed to land myself an interview with Liam, owner of Solar Empire at Imperial. So, here goes:

OMGN: Hi Liam, now can you give us a little bit of background of yourself?

Liam: Im 14 and live in Bristol. Ive been coding for about 2 1/2 years now. I mainly only code for Imperial Empire SE, but I do contribute to the SE community some times and to those who approach me.

OMGN: What drew you towards Solar Empire?

Liam: I was introduced to it by a friend. Being a fan of Sci-Fi and Space and so on, I took to the game and got into its great community.

OMGN: So what have you got in store for us at Imperial?

Liam: Well, so far development has been quite strong. I've currently ben updating a few of the older scripts that I introduced because my abilities have grown thus allowing me to enhance gameplay. At current there are a few development idea's in plan to upgrade the existing Attack system. It is a bit worn and basicaly needs a face lift. Along with that a few more upgrades are to be added and possibly a new in-game layout and a new layout of the planets.

OMGN: Do you play any other online games, or is most or your time dedicated to Imperial and other such developments?

Liam: Generaly my time is dedicated to Imperial and the SE community (eg The Global SE Forums). I haven't exactly gone out to find any other games but am planning to maybe create my own brand new gaming server.

OMGN: Are there any special features or games coming to Imperial any time soon?

Liam: I doubt any more games will be opened within Imperial, but as answered above there will be a few more developments undergoing construction.

OMGN: Is there anything else you would like to add before we conclude this interview?

Liam: At the moment Imperial does have a few issues concerning the current Attack system, but once these are fixed it should lift alot of, dare I say it, "bugs" and increase gameplay by alot. Along with my on going development plan, every 1 or 2 games, something new should arrive allowing gameplay to continue increasing. I'd also like to think that by gaining players, they actualy stay with the server. After all, it is a free gaming server and without players there isn't much point. I suppose I cant exactly rate Imperial due to my obvious, biased opinion so please drop by and take a look for yourself.

OMGN: Thank you for your time Liam.
