PRESEASON SCHEDULE CLOSES SUNDAY

The Blackhawks preseason schedule comes to a close this weekend with
back-to-back games against the Blues Saturday night in St. Louis
(7:30 pm, Comcast SportsNet) and Sunday vs. the Wild in Minnesota (5
pm, Comcast SportsNet Plus).

Martin Havlat (groin) and Tuomo Ruutu (knee) may play Sunday but are
not expected to be in the lineup Saturday. Check
chicagoblackhawks.com this afternoon for more from Friday’s practice.

BLACKHAWKS MOURN PASSING OF WILLIAM WIRTZ

It is with deep sorrow that the Chicago Blackhawks announce that team
President, Mr. William W. Wirtz, 77, passed away early Wednesday
morning at Evanston Hospital after a recent battle with cancer.

games will sign autographs and greet fans entering the United Center
