The resource genre is exactly as the name sounds: genre. A genre is more like a category of what the resource deals with. Starcraft, for instance, is in the strategy genre, because the focus of the game is strategy to win. Therefore, any resource associated with Starcraft is in the strategy genre. When submitting a resource, take into careful consideration all of the different resources. If the resource fits into more than one genre, then put it in the genre that is most apparent with the resource. If it doesn't fit into any, put Other. Nonspecific is for resources that deal with many different genres. |
