Write For OMGN |
Have you ever dreamed about writing about video games? If so, you have the opportunity to do just that by joining the ranks of one of the up-and-coming video game websites with OMGN. We are looking for writers of all types, from the casual writer to those with a serious interest in journalism. OMGN covers any video game, with only one exception: gambling-based games. We cover all sorts of content from news and reviews to interviews and editorials. If you're interested, please read on.
|
Reporters |
Reporters cover general gaming news as it applies to video games. This includes scanning gaming sites looking for the latest updates and news and extends to reporting on major happening that affect video games. You'll be responsible for finding the news and writing reports on it, as well as collecting quotes and impressions from others (If at all possible).
|
Reviewers |
Review writers focus on writing reviews for video games that have hit the market, although review writers can contribute previews if they so choose. As a reviewer, it is your job to rate the game as you see fit. You'll be in charge of choosing the game to review and writing up the content of the review as well. There may be some times where an OMGN Editor will make a special request for a review, however. OMGN doesn't usually review a game more than once, however, so if you're wanting to review a game, make sure to get the notice in as quickly as possible.
|
Interviewers |
As an interviewer you'll seek others within the video gaming industry to interview. From big-budget developers to the best player in a small-budget game, people want to know what those in the industry have to say. You'll be in charge of getting the interview yourself and generating the questions for it. Sometimes OMGN Editors may come with a special interview request.
|
Nexus Writers |
OMGN has a blog called Nexus. We're interested in getting anybody that wants to write about nearly anything. Nexus writers get mostly free reign on subjects to write about, although Nexus is also home to some video gaming information that isn't news-worthy.

More Information |
If you're interested in writing for OMGN and meet our requirements, or would like additional information, then please contact Robert F. Ludwick, our Content Manager for a general interview. All writers are considered volunteers unless a payment arrangement is agreed upon by the writer and the owners of Dambert Technologies L.L.C., the parent company of Sleek Content Network, which includes OMGN. All content submitted by a writer becomes the property of OMGN, but by permission the writer may re-use materials written.
